At Clean Cut Painting & Handyman

From our earliest days as a small family operation to our current presence across Central Illinois, our focus has never wavered: honest work, skilled hands, and relationships built on trust.
Our Roots
Clean Cut has called Central Illinois home since day one, working with homeowners and businesses across the region. Ken Clark launched Clean Cut Painting & Handyman in 2016 out of Decatur, setting the standard for tidy job sites, professional conduct, quality craftsmanship, and dependable service.
When Ken passed unexpectedly, the Clark Family knew his work had to carry on. Dara and Colby Geiser took the reins in early 2018, bringing more than three decades of combined hands-on experience and a deep respect for the standards Ken had put in place.
Now operating out of both Springfield and Decatur, Clean Cut continues to follow the same straightforward principle: provide dependable, top-quality results that clients can count on, all while honoring the foundation that made it possible.

Family is more than a label for us. It shapes the way Dara and Colby run the business, from how they treat crew members to how they interact with clients. Many of our tradespeople have been with Clean Cut since the early days, and that loyalty shows up in the consistency of our craftsmanship and the pride we take in serving Springfield and Sangamon County.
Looking to the Future
Jack, our son, came on board in 2024, bringing fresh energy to the company. His addition has helped us grow into the Springfield market, giving us the capacity to reach more homeowners without sacrificing the personal attention and high-caliber work that our clients have come to rely on.
